Home Women's Ministries
The Women's Ministry meet every Thursday at 9:30AM for Bible study and prayer. Those who prefer may bring a sack lunch and spend the day quilting, making purses, and other crafts. All proceeds go to Missions. Birthdays are celebrated once a month with a potluck luncheon. The WM's collect aluminum cans, Best Choice labels, and cancelled postage stamps. Please do not remove the stamps from the envelopes. If the envelopes are cut or torn too closely they are not usuable. WM's attend sectional rallies throughout the year and the Arkansas District Retreat in October. All pledges to Missions are turned in at that time. There is a big fundraiser once a year. Cookbooks, greeting cards, pie cutters and Arkansas honey are sold throughout the year. WM's have an active prayer chain. They send monthly support to six missionaries. They also support Teen Challenge, Hillcrest Children's Home, and Highland Child Placement Center. Support is doubled at Christmas. Donations to the WM Ministry are greatly appreciated. Membership is open to all ladies!
